Reopening of the boulevard de la Carrière ecocentre
Gatineau, May 13, 2020. – The ecocentre at 860 boulevard de la Carrière will reopen at 6 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 13). Health measures will be in place, and physical distancing will be required at all times.
Hours Wednesdays to Fridays: from 6:00 to 8:45 p.m. Saturdays: from 1:00 to 4:45 p.m. Sundays: from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
The waste transfer centre located at that same address will also be open during those hours.

Please note that: - all materials brought to the ecocentre must be sorted ahead of time; - bulky waste will be accepted; - people must maintain a distance of two metres from each other; and - a limited number of vehicles will be admitted at any given time, so wait times may be longer than usual.

Paving work is underway on boulevard de la Carrière near the ecocentre. Please respect the signs.

As you know, the Aéroparc ecocentre is also open, but is not accepting bulky waste.

If possible, it is best to opt for street pick-up during regular or special collections.

Residents are urged to be courteous during visits to the ecocentre. The measures in place are in accordance with Government of Quebec instructions. It is essential that everyone cooperate during this exceptional situation.
